As an essential component of the Southern Gas Corridor in Europe, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline plays a crucial role in bolstering the continent's energy security, diversifying its energy sources, and supporting decarbonization efforts. With a transportation capacity of approximately 10 billion cubic meters of gas per year, the pipeline has the potential to expand to 20 billion cubic meters annually. By providing a reliable source of natural gas, TAP contributes to Europe's access to a new and sustainable energy resource.
