ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 25. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov singled out the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline as one of the promising megaprojects through which natural gas will be supplied to European countries, Trend reports.
According to official information, he expressed this opinion in his congratulatory letter to the participants of the 28th International Conference and Exhibition 'Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2023' (OGT-2023).
He noted that the Galkynysh field, which is one of the largest in the world, is of particular importance for meeting international demand for Turkmenistan's natural gas.
The Head of State noted the significant efforts made for the phased development of this giant field, and the creation of optimal conditions in Turkmenistan to attract investment in this process.
"Not limited to the possibilities of exporting natural gas, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to its processing and is open to mutually beneficial cooperation in this segment," Berdimuhamedov said.
Meanwhile, the international exhibition and conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2023" (OGT-2023) will be held in Ashgabat from October 25 to October 27 this year.
The event will be attended by representatives of state and international organizations, national and private oil and gas companies, as well as experts from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, the US, Russia, UAE, China, Japan, Malaysia, the UK, Italy, Cyprus, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and Singapore.
