Over 2,324 billion kW/h of electricity was generated in the system of Azerenerji JSC in March 2006, or 5% more than 2004, Trend reports.
Azerenerji announced that 2,033 billion kW/h of entire generation fell on thermo-power stations, 291 billion kW/h hydro-power stations.
As a result of energy exchange in March 48.6 billion kW/h was imported from Russia, 61.6 million from Iran, 39,1 million kW/h from Turkey and 14.7 million KW/h from Georgia.
