Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan increases investments in fixed assets

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Dec. 24

Over 948.9 million manat ($558.1 million) was infested in fixed capital from all financial sources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic over the past 11 months of 2020, Trend reports citing a report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistics Committee.

As reported, this indicator demonstrates an increase of 1 percent in comparison to the same period of the previous year.

According to the committee, 94.8 percent or 899.5 million manat ($529.1 million) of the funds allocated to fixed assets fell on construction and installation work.

As the committee said earlier, from January through November 2020, 12.7 billion manat ($7.47 billion) was allocated to the development of the country's socio-economic sphere from all financial sources, which is 4 percent less compared to the same period of last year.
