A total of 11.1 trillion rials (about $264 million) worth of loans have been issued to 386 manufacturing enterprises in Semnan Province (northern Iran) since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020) to increase production, Chairman for Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Semnan Province, Ali Teshnedel said, Trend reports citing the organization.
According to him, the loans worth 10.6 trillion rials (about $252 million) have been issued to 75 industrial enterprises and 548 billion rials (about $13 million) to 311 agricultural enterprises.
The chairman added that it was also declared to the banks for issuance of loans worth 1.9 trillion rials (about $45.2 million) to 94 industrial and agricultural enterprises.
Teshnedel noted that the problems of 1,170 manufacturing enterprises in the province have been researched. The problems of 73 enterprises have been solved. Discussions are underway with the remaining enterprises.
The problems of enterprises are economic problems, liquidity, the supply of raw materials, capital turnover, etc.
