Nominal income of Azerbaijani population increases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 15

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population increased by 0.4 percent from January through June 2021 compared to the same period of last year and amounted to 27.6 billion manat ($16.2 billion), Trend reports with reference to the report of the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

The nominal income per capita decreased by 0.1 percent up to 2,755.4 manat ($1,620.8) during the reporting period.

The nominal volume of GDP amounted to 39.9 billion manat ($23.5 billion) from January through June 2021, which is by 2.1 percent more than from January through June 2020.

GDP in the non-oil sector reached 25.6 billion manat ($15.05 billion) from January through June 2021, which is by 5.1 percent more than in the same period of last year.

GDP per capita amounted to 3,987.6 manat ($2,345.6) from January through June 2021, increasing by 1.6 percent compared to the period from January through June 2020.

The income of the population after payment of all mandatory and voluntary payments amounted to about 24.8 billion manat ($14.6 billion), which is by 0.3 percent less than in the same period of last year.
