Iran to put into operation large industrial enterprises in Zanjan Province

Iran plans to put into operation 14 large industrial enterprises in the Zanjan Province (western Iran) by the end of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022), Chairman of Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of Zanjan Province Nasser Faghfouri said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

Faghfouri emphasized that a total of 3,190 people will be employed after the launch of these enterprises, which cost 74.7 trillion rials (about $1.78 billion).

“Of these, 4 industrial enterprises are currently ready to be put into operation in the Zanjan Province. So, 655 people will be employed with the launch of the enterprises,” he added.

The chairman noted that 11.3 trillion rials (about $270 million) have been spent on the four enterprises in Zanjan, Abhar, and Khorramdareh counties.
