The revenues of the consolidated budget of Azerbaijan from January through September 2021 amounted to 23 billion manat ($13.5 billion) or 5.5 billion manat ($3.23 billion), which is 31.6 percent more compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports citing the data of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance.
As the ministry noted, budget expenses worth nearly 19.5 billion manat ($11.4 billion) were executed in the reporting period.
Meanwhile, a surplus of about 3.5 billion manat ($2.05 billion) was formed in the country's budget.
The revenues of the consolidated budget of Azerbaijan in 2020 amounted to 24.4 billion manat ($14.3 billion), and expenses - 29.1 billion manat ($17.1 billion). The budget deficit is 4.7 billion manat ($2.76 billion).
