The overall index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) dropped by 21,824 points to 1.234 million, on January 24, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.
Over 5.4 billion shares valued at $737 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
The indices of Chadermelo Company, National Copper Industrial Company, Persian Gulf petrochemical Co., Tamin oil and gas petrochemical company, Jam Petrochemical Co., and Mobarakeh Steel Company had the most negative impact on TSE.
The overall index of the Farabourse dropped by 112 points to 17,242
