BSE's turnover of securities increases over year

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 5. The turnover of securities at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) exceeded 5.1 billion manat ($3 billion), which is 19.97 percent more in annual terms from 01.01.2022 through 31.03.2022, Trend reports citing the BSE.

State securities of the BSE turnover accounted for 53.67 percent, or 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion).

According to the BSE, the volume of trade in corporate securities increased by 67 percent, amounting to 224.4 million manat ($132 million), repurchase agreement (REPO) transactions - by 103 percent, up to 2.1 billion manat ($1.2 billion).

The capitalization of the exchange amounted to 4.08 billion manat ($2.4 billion).
