BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 28. Azerbaijan's Kapital Bank took first place among the banks of Azerbaijan in terms of revenue according to the results of the first quarter of 2023, Trend reports.
According to the financial report, the bank's revenue for the reporting period amounted to 266.9 million manat ($156.9 million).
The second position in the ranking was taken by the International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB) with a total revenue of 230.4 million manat ($135.5 million).
Pasha Bank is in third place with a total revenue of 130.4 million manat ($76.7 million).
The total revenue of the first three banks is 627.8 million manat ($369.2 million), or 67.15 percent of the total revenue of 10 banks in Azerbaijan (934.9 million manat or $549.9 million).

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the net profit of the banking sector as of March 31, 2023, increased by 94 million manat ($55.2 million), or 54.05 percent compared to the same period in 2022 - from 173.9 million ($102.2 million) to 267.9 million manat ($157.5 million).
