Azerbaijani, Russian mobile operators reach tariff agreement

The Russian mobile operator VimpelCom announced the expansion of preferential roaming coverage zone for Bakcell and Azerfon.

Preferential tariffing will be applied from May 31 for all

Beeline subscribers when registering in international roaming in these networks.

Tariff reductions for Russian subscribers will be more than 30 percent for voice calls, 50 percent for SMSes and 60 percent for data transmission.

According to VimpelCom Vice President on Corporate Business

Development Andrey Patok, the company has carried out serious work as a result of which preferential roaming zone was created in the CIS.

"We continue to negotiate with the operators in the CIS and are pleased to announce today that we were able to significantly expand the number of partners and coverage zone of the preferential roaming," he said.
