Baku, Azerbaijan, Dec. 1
By Huseyn Valiyev – Trend:
The absence of state support hampers the launch of assembly of smartphones and tablet PCs under the Made in Azerbaijan brand, Ramin Suleymanov, CEO of CRM Group company, told Trend.
Suleymanov said that the company cannot get benefits for the import of components necessary for setting up the local assembly.
“Increase of human resources potential, which also requires state support, is another important issue,” he noted. “In order to increase the human resources potential, it is necessary to attract foreign specialists, and they, while working in Azerbaijan, have to make pension payments both to their countries and the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan, and this, of course, is not profitable for them, and creates certain obstacles.”
Earlier, the company acquired the patent right to deploy the assembly of around 10 different types of IT products, including laptops.
