Journalists will be provided with free internet in Iran for one year, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told reporters after the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Iranian government has taken this step to award journalists on the occasion of the Journalists’ Day, Rouhani added, Trend reports referring to IRINN.
Rouhani said that Iran's Information and Communication Technology Minister Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi was given corresponding instructions.

Journalists’ Day is celebrated in Iran on August 8.
