A mission of Strategic Policy Research, Inc. (SPR) concluded its visit to Baku under the grant agreement signed between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies and the US Trade and Development Agency, the Ministry told Trend.
A mission of experts on financial and strategic issues was headed by a specialist on jurisprudence, Craig Blakeley.
During the visit they collected materials on different direction of activities of the Ministry ad hold meetings with its representatives.
SPR will design recommendations for the Communications Ministry on the base of researches on reforms and institutional changes, especially, establishment of regulating body.
A $735,000 grant agreement was signed in January 2005 by the Azerbaijani Minister for Communications and Information Technologies, Ali Abbasov, and the U.S. Charge dAffaires, Jayson Highland.
