As many as 5,895 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Russia from January through June 2020, which is 1 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Some 1.05 percent of the total volume of cargo trucking operations from Turkey accounted for Russia in the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, 1,208 Turkish trucks transported the cargo from Turkey to Russia in June 2020, which is 31 percent more compared to June 2019.
In total, 558,903 Turkish trucks transported the cargo abroad from January through June 2020, an annual decrease of 8 percent.
In June 2020, 99,165 Turkish trucks transported the cargo abroad, which is 6 percent more compared to June 2019.
