Volume of cargo loaded, unloaded in Iran’s Amirabad port announced

A total of 152,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Amirabad Port in the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020), Trend reports citing the statistics of the Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 22,900 tons of the cargo were loaded and 129,000 tons were unloaded.

“In addition, 22,600 million tons of goods were exported and 128,000 tons were imported through the Amirabad port over the reporting period,” the statistics said.

Also, 303,000 tons of goods were loaded and 1,180 tons were unloaded for transit through the Amirabad Port, the statistics said.

According to the statistics, 8 tons of goods were loaded and 58 tons were unloaded in the Amirabad port for other purposes.

In general, 121,000 tons of essential products, 2,640 tons of metal products, 16,400 tons of construction and mining materials, 559 tons of equipment, vehicles, and spare parts, 434 tons of chemicals were loaded and unloaded in the Amirabad port in the 9th month, the statistics said.

“At the same time, 129 tons of leather products, clothing, wood materials, paper, and so on, 248 tons of container products, 10,300 tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in the port during the reporting period,” the statistics said.

In total, 9.13 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 21 through December 20, 2020). Of this, 5.5 million tons were loaded and 3.62 million tons were unloaded.
