The subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC - ADY Container LLC, together with the Turkish Pacific Eurasia Logistics transport and logistics company, is participating in a project on the transportation of goods from Turkey to Europe, ADY Container LLC told Trend on July 15.
The company has already begun to contribute to the trade turnover between Turkey and Europe.
"The joint project envisages the supply of the Turkish products to Europe and in the opposite direction,” the company said. “At the next stages, it is planned to transport goods between Azerbaijan and European countries through Turkey."
“The containers have already been sent from Turkey’s Istanbul city to the capital of Hungary – Budapest,” the company said. “After arriving at the destination, the Turkish products will be unloaded and the containers will be filled with cargo for the Turkish side.”
"Besides expanding the transit capabilities of our country and transcontinental transport ties, we offer various logistics products in the region, participate in the routes that do not pass through the Azerbaijani territory,” the company said. “This step will serve to strengthen the transport and logistics potential of our company and attract more logistics products."
