Kazakhstan’s Aktau port will continue to cooperate with Azerbaijan’s port of Baku to complete the establishment of the digital connection for the e-exchange of preliminary information about cargo transportation and ship docking in these ports, the Kazakh Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development told Trend.

According to the ministry, for this purpose, the digital connection will be established between Solvo software (Aktau port) and DBA Group (port of Baku).

The ministry added that test servers were successfully installed in the ports of Baku and Aktau to test new Solvo and DBA Group modules within the project entitled "Communications / Digital Routes".

“The working base of Solvo software has been set up in the port of Aktau,” the ministry said. “The process of setting up the working base of the DBA Group is expected to be completed in the port of Baku.”

The ministry also stressed that the port of Aktau also plans to develop a module for preliminary information about containers between the port of Aktau and Kazakhstan’s KTZ Express company this year.
