BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 2. Last week it became known that the construction of the fourth tanker for Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC is planned to be completed by the end of the 3Q2023, Trend reports.
The tanker is being built on land at this stage. This tanker, like the Khoshbakht Yusifzade tanker, will be aimed to transport oil and oil products, including lubricants. Up to 300 local specialists are involved in the construction work. The tanker will be aimed to transport oil and oil products. It is able to walk both in the sea and on the river.
In addition, it became known that the “Zarifa Aliyeva” Ro-Pax type ferry boat was built by Azerbaijani specialists. About 250-300 people were involved in the process of building the vessel. The uniqueness of this ship is that it is equipped with cargo and passenger elevators, wave balancing system. In addition, the ship has a sauna, swimming pool, water filtration devices.
Also, Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC for the first time delivered cargo to the Azerbaijan’s Baku Hovsan Seaport via the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). The cargo was delivered to the port of Hovsan by the "Maestro Niyazi" ship, which is part of the shipping company's flotilla.
The dry-cargo ship, which arrived from the Kazakh port of Aktau, transported 140 twenty-foot containers to the port of Hovsan.
