Kazakhstan wants to see CSTO as organization of multifunction directivity - FM
A political dialog has been tuned up and is successfully developing within the CSTO. Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov has answered the Kazakh journalists' questions after a session of the CSTO Foreign Ministers' Council in Minsk.
"We meet regularly, hold consultations and coordinate our positions on relevant matters of international and regional policy. Our common approaches are reflected in declarations adopted by the heads of state and statements of the CSTO Collective Security Council," Kazykhanov noted.
The Minister outlined developing cooperation with other international and regional organizations dealing with the security issues, first of all, interaction with the UN, OSСE, EurAsEC, CIS and SCO.
"Moreover, I would like to note that Kazakhstan wants to see the CSTO as an Organization of multifunction directivity," he said.
