The Kazakh Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies will decrease maximum retail prices on petrol, oil and lubricants in July, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported referring to the agency.
"Due to changes in quotations values of Brent oil, ...chairman of the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies ordered to reduce retail prices since July 1 on oil product which prices are regulating by the state," the agency said.
The maximum retail prices in Kazakhstan in July were fixed as follows: petrol AI-80 ≤ 86 tenge ($0.58)/ liter, petrol AI-92/93 ≤106 tenge ($0.71)/ liter, diesel ≤ 90 tenge ($0.6) / liter.
The maximum retail prices at filling stations in Kazakhstan from April to June 2012 were as follows: petrol AI-80 ≤ 91 tenge ($0.61)/ liter, petrol AI-92 ≤112 tenge ($0.76)/ liter, diesel ≤ 95 tenge ($0.64) / liter.
