By Daniar Mukhtarov - Trend:

Employers in Kazakhstan will be held responsible for failing to provide leaves to their employees, Kazakh Deputy Justice Minister Zauresh Baymoldina said Oct. 13.

She made the remarks at the meeting at the Kazakh Attorney General's Office.

"The president has repeatedly drawn attention to protection of citizen's labor rights, and we tried to realize it in the Code of Administrative Offences," Baymoldina said.

She said the code included new administrative offences, which provide for responsibility for the employer's failure to pay wages to employees in full, and failure to provide paid leaves during a two-year period.

The deputy justice minister said Kazakhstan will also introduce administrative liability for violation of the employees' rights in the area of equal payment for equal work.

She said that Kazakhstan will also hold responsible the employers who conceal the labor accident facts.
