Housing prices increase in Kazakhstan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 11. Residential real estate has risen in price in Kazakhstan over the year, Trend reports via Kazinform.

In Kazakhstan, over the year (from June 2021 through June 2022), prices for secondary market apartments increased by 26.8 percent, and sales of new housing increased by 19.5 percent.

During the specified period, the rent for comfortable housing increased by 21 percent.

In the regional context, prices in the primary housing market increased significantly in Nur-Sultan by 27.9 percent. In the secondary housing market, the leaders of price growth are the city of Kyzylorda (46.7 percent), and in the rental housing market - the city of Almaty (48.3 percent).

Furthermore, from May through June 2022, prices for new housing increased by 1.1 percent, resales of apartments – by 0.4 percent, and rents for comfortable housing decreased by 1.1 percent.
