BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. A module for verification of consumer data for the supply of diesel fuel at differential prices was launched on the basis of the information system accounting for certain types of petroleum products on September 15, 2022, Trend reports.
The functionality of the information system in real-time allows the country's gas stations (gas stations) to track daily volumes of diesel fuel sold at gas stations at a price of 230-260 tenge per liter($0.828 -$0.936) (depending on the region).
The service was developed without budget expenditures and provides for verification of documents from the databases of the Ministries of Internal Affairs, Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry and the State Credit Bureau.
The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan reported on August 22 that as one of the possible options considered 'Information system of accounting of certain types of oil products', which was put into commercial operation in 2019, the operator of the information system is the National Information Technologies JSC (NIT).
Currently, NIT JSC has provided logins and passwords for 2,000 petrol stations in the country, of which 271 petrol stations started the practical application, i.e. 'performed logins' as system users immediately after the launch; in total, 2,365 sales were carried out by petrol stations in Kazakhstan.
Also, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy launched a technical support center to provide operational advisory assistance to gas station operators in working with the system.
The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan together with NIT JSC will continue to integrate the information system for accounting for certain types of petroleum products with information systems of filling stations, second-tier banks and other information systems and services.\
