ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 18. Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGas (KMG, national company) is ready to expand cooperation with Huawei, the KMG told Trend.
This was stated during a meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Board of KMG Dmitry Makeyev and Vice President of Huawei Middle East & Central Asia Wang Shunli in Beijing.
The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two companies.
Wang Shunli spoke about Huawei's achievements in the field of telecommunications, artificial intelligence, information technology, Internet of things and digital energy.
In turn, Makeyev noted that digitalization of production is one of KMG’s priorities. The Kazakh national company already operates a container data center, "Huawei Fusion Module 1000A".
According to him, KazMunayGas' subsidiaries also widely use equipment from the Chinese company.
Huawei is a leading global provider of advanced information and communications technology solutions. It ranks 2nd in the world in terms of investment in research and development (54.8 percent of the company's 195,000 employees are engaged in it) and 9th in the Best Global Brands ranking.
