Kazakhstan exports up to USD 15 bln abroad - Kazakh President

(Kazinform) - To date Kazakhstan exports up to USD 15 bln abroad, the Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the regular meeting involving the participants of the 8th coordination council of the heads of the tax (financial) investigation bodies of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), reports Trend.

Savings in second-tier banks make at present 60% of the country's GDP, President noted.

I know a great deal of Kazakhstan money is channeled to Russia, Ukraine, Caucasus, and Central Asian states and we hail this fact, Nursultan Nazarbayev said. Gold-value assets and the reserves of the National Fund amount to USD 25 bln. It is the highest rate intra-CIS, Nursultan Nazarbayev underlined.
