(gazeta.kz) - Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, has signed the order assigning Karim Massimov as the new Prime Minister, the presidential press service.
As per the Constitution the new Prime Minister has to submit his propositions on the structure and composition of the new government to the President in the ten-day term. Besides, in one month after his assignment the new Prime Minister has to present a new government programme to the Parliament, reports Trend.
Mr. Massimov, 41, who had been the only Vice Premier to the former PM Danial Akhmetov was proposed as a new PM at the joint meeting of the Parliament Houses yesterday, January 10. The MPs present at the meeting voted for Mr. Massimov unilaterally.
