Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, 5 August / Trend corr. R.Mashadihasanli / The court trial involving mass HIV infection of children was completed in the Nookat City in Oshsk region in Kyrgyzstan, Yelena Bayalinova, a spokesperson of the Kyrgyz Health Minister, said.
According to judges, nine medical employees were accused on the Article 316 (carelessness) and 117 (HIV-infection) as a result of the two months judicial investigation. Four other persons were justified due to lack of evidence.
All the arrested medical employees were sentenced from three to five years of imprisonment
According to the news-service in the Helth Ministry, the names of the accused persons have not been announced yet. Mass HIV infection of children was revealed in the south regions of Kyrgyzstan in April 2008.
