In Kyrgyzstan, candidates at the forth coming presidential elections will take back the pre-election pledge if they receive more than 5 percent of votes, as expert Akzhol Berdiev said at today's round table conference, devoted to reformation of election legislation, 24.kg reported.

According to him, the pledge amount has not been changed - KGS 100 thousand. "However, according to former Election Law, participant of the presidential race can take pre-election pledge only if the candidate received 15 percent of votes. The bill developers decided to lower the threshold level and Parliament endorsed the initiative," added Akzhol Berdiev.
