Electric Power Stations OJSC not to allow idle discharge of water from Toktogul reservoir in Kyrgyzstan, OJSC press service reports.

According to them, they have another 25 days including today to fill the tank while maintaining the current regime. "During this time we will take measures to increase electricity export that would require additional water flow. The inflow into the reservoir will be significantly reduced in August. The inflow of water is below the norm in 2011," the press service explains.

Let us remind that today the volume of water in Toktogul is 19 billion 16 million cubic meters and its total capacity is 19.5 billion cubic meters.
