An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale jolted Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan Today reported.
The European Seismological Center reported that tremors were recorded at 3.08 am on July 30 The epicenter was located in 117 km south- east of the Osh city and 109 kilometers south -east of Uzgen.
The European seismologists say the depth of the tremors was one kilometer.
Earlier, two tremors measuring 8 and 3.5 occurred in the Batken region, southern Kyrgyzstan . The quake damaged 83 houses , the Metallurg transformer substation and injured 15 people.
