Kyrgyzstan, Hungary to undertake joint scientific research

In accordance with an agreement, reached between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary during the official visit of Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov to Hungary on Sept. 28-29, joint scientific research between the two countries in the field of genetics, history, archaeology, art, culture will be organized in the coming years, Trend reports citing Kabar.

Besides, it is planned to open the Hungarian Research Institute within the agreements on bilateral cooperation in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz Education Ministry reported Friday.

In Hungary, a monument to Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov will be erected in the park named after him. The name of the great writer is well known in the European country, and his stories - The White Steamship, Farewell Gulsary, The First Teacher, Jamilya, novels The Place of the Skull, When the Mountains Fall are among the most readable literary works.

Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Education and Science Kanybek Isakov and Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Sijärto have signed a bilateral agreement in the field of education and science.
