BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 21. Kyrgyzstan's bakery production has significantly increased from January through May 2022, Trend reports with the reference to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
The total amount of production of flour products in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 3.5 billion soms ($44.6 million) in the reporting period of 2022, which is 20.6 percent more compared to the same period in 2021 (2.9 billion soms, or $36.4 million)
The production of bread and flour confectionery products with a short shelf life in the first five months of 2022 in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 2.8 billion soms ($35.8 million).
In addition, bakeries of Kyrgyzstan in the reporting period produced long-term storage hard chuck and biscuits in the amount of 293.2 million soms ($3,6 million).
