BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, July 20. Kyrgyzstan has improved its global passport ranking to the 76th position, according to the Henley & Partners consulting firm, Trend reports.

Based on the published data, citizens of Kyrgyzstan can now visit visa-free a total of 63 countries. Compared to the previous year's data, Kyrgyzstan has improved its position by seven spots. However, it did lose visa-free access to one country.

In the Central Asian region, Kyrgyzstan's passport ranking is second only to Kazakhstan, which holds 66th place. Turkmenistan ranks 87th, while Tajikistan and Uzbekistan share 78th place in the updated rankings.

Henley & Partners' rankings indicate that the strongest passport in the world belongs to Singapore, which allows its citizens to travel visa-free to 192 countries. The former top-ranking passport, Japan, has now dropped to the third position.

On the other hand, the weakest passport in the world is that of Afghanistan. Afghan citizens currently have visa-free access to only 27 countries.
