DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, July 7. President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has inaugurated a metal processing and manufacturing plant named “Sokhtmoni Kabir” in the Khujand city, during his ongoing working trip to the Sughd region, Trend reports.
During official launch of the plant, it was noted that the factory received metal supplies both domestically and from abroad, and the process of processing and producing the structures is carried out using state-of-the-art technological lines.
The plant’s production includes a wide range of metal structures, including domes for various buildings, sports complexes, passenger terminals, railway stations, exhibitions, bridges, and pedestrian walkways. These structures are produced in the required shapes and sizes.
The machinery and equipment for metal processing and structure production have been imported from Russia and China. They are installed and operated by Tajik specialists.
The processing and production of metal structures in the plant, ranging in length from 1 to 5 centimeters, involve several stages such as cutting, shaping, welding, assembly, and finally, painting.
During his visit, President Rahmon was informed that the plant has an average annual production capacity of approximately 400 tons of high-quality metal structures.
The “Sokhtmoni Kabir” is one of the pioneering enterprises in Khujand city region engaged in the processing and production of metal structures.
Overall, president of Tajikistan inaugurated 3 plants, medical center and shopping mall during his visit to the Sughd region.
