Turkmen Speaker Akja Nurberdieva will pay a working visit to Kazan, the official Turkmen source said today.

A Turkmen delegation will participate in an international conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meetings are planned to be held in the State Council of Tatarstan.

Turkmenistan has intensified cooperation with major regions in Russia, such as Tatarstan, St. Petersburg, Astrakhan, Sverdlovsk, and other regions.

Russia holds leading positions in the ranking of Turkmenistan's largest trade partners. According to the Russian side, the trade turnover between the two countries is growing steadily. It reached $ 4.3 billion taking into account gas supply in 2011. Russia ranked third in Turkmenistan's total turnover for three months in 2012. The turnover amounted to $1.235 billion.

The largest training and commercial service centre of KAMAZ in Central Asia is located in Ashgabat, as the total number of car models of the brand in Turkmenistan is more than 10,000.

The cooperation is being developing in the fuel and energy complex. Tatneft company and Turkmenneft state concern signed an agreement in 2008. The subject of the service contract is rendering the services aimed at increasing oil output from the layers and the further use of the oil production potential from the Goturdepe field. The term of the contract is seven years.
