BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. Turkmenistan increased textile production indicators from January through April 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
The volume of products manufactured by enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, including cotton yarn and fabrics, is 133.1 and 125.9 percent, respectively.
In the reporting period, the volume of manufactured garments and knitwear is 119.5 percent, and leather - is 109.3 percent.
The implementation of the plan for the manufacture of carpet products at the enterprises of the Türkmenhaly State Association of Turkmenistan amounted to 117.5 percent.
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the most important sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
