BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 22. The Gunbatargazakdyrysh department of the Turkmengas State Concern, operating in the Balkan region in the west of Turkmenistan, exceeded the plan for natural gas supplies from January through August 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During the specified period, the department sent 5.75 billion cubic meters of natural gas to consumers. The production plan was exceeded by 60 percent.
Meanwhile, in the first 8 months of this year, the department sent 2.17 billion cubic meters of natural gas to consumers more than was planned for this period.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
At the same time, the country pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
