BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 27. Turkmennebit State Concern of Turkmenistan, and Dragon Oil, an Arab international oil and gas company signed an agreement on cooperation on seismic operations on the Caspian shelf, Trend reports citing Business Turkmenistan news agency.
According to the data, seismic work will be carried out on Block 19 in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.
The document was signed within the framework of the International Conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2022", which started on October 26 in the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat. On behalf of Dragon Oil, the document was signed by the company's Chief Executive Officer of Dragon Oil, Ali Rashid Al Jarwan.
Dragon Oil is the operator of the Cheleken contract area on the basis of the Production Sharing Agreement (PSA), which was signed in November 1999 with the Government of Turkmenistan.
