BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 2. Turkmen NAPECO national oil and gas company has acquired a 5 percent stake in the Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) of Dragon Oil, an Arab international oil and gas company at the Cheleken field of Turkmenistan, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.

The companies signed a deal within the framework of the 27th "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan -2022" International Conference (OGT-2022), held in the capital of Turkmenistan Ashgabat.

NAPECO will process all the extracted Turkmen oil at the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex.

The shareholders of NAPECO CJSC include the State Agency for the Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources under the President of Turkmenistan, the Turkmengas and Turkmennebit state concerns, the Turkmengeology State Corporation and the Turkmenbashi Oil Processing Complex.
