BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 6. The enterprises of the oil industry of Turkmenistan exceeded the production plan from January through February 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Ashirguly Begliyev at a government meeting held on March 3.
According to him, during the reporting period, the plan for the production of diesel fuel in Turkmenistan was exceeded by 0.8 percent, polypropylene – by 5 percent, and lubricating oils – by 10.7 percent.
In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that from January through February 2023, the oil refining plan by the Turkmennebit State Concern was exceeded by 1.2 percent.
Turkmenistan ranks among the world's leading countries in terms of oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of the industrial development of recently discovered gas fields. At the same time, the country pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to world markets.
