BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 26. UK business circles are ready to expand their presence in the Turkmen market, Trend reports.
According to the official source of Turkmenistan, this was stated by the newly appointed British Ambassador to Turkmenistan Stephen Conlon during a meeting with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Stephen Condon noted that the UK attaches great importance to the further strengthening of traditional relations and effective cooperation with Turkmenistan, which is confidently following the path of sovereign development.
In turn, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that there are opportunities for further development of trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and the UK and stressed the expediency of holding negotiations on integrating the advanced achievements of British companies.
Meanwhile, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiyev and newly appointed British Ambassador to Turkmenistan Stephen Conlon recently discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of trade and economic cooperation.
