Turkmenistan increases sale of raw materials on its exchange

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 25. The State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan held trades in foreign currency last week, the total amount of which amounted to approximately $77.1 million, Trend reports.

According to the exchange, this is 2.8 times higher than the figures of the last reporting period ($27 million).

Entrepreneurs from the UAE, Malta and Afghanistan purchased carbamide and liquefied gas produced by the Turkmenhimiya State Concern, as well as gasoline and heating oil manufactured at the technological enterprises of the Turkmennebit State Concern.

At the same time, businessmen from Türkiye, the UAE and China purchased various types of chemical, petroleum, agricultural and textile products for foreign currency.

A total of 57 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
