ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 4. The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan held auctions last week, at which it concluded contracts with foreign entrepreneurs for the export of its products totaling $70.5 million, Trend reports.

The data from the exchange shows that entrepreneurs from the UAE, Afghanistan and other countries purchased aviation kerosene and low-sulfur heating oil produced at the enterprises of the Turkmennebit State Concern for foreign currency.

Furthermore, sets of bed linen, terry and denim products, cotton fabric and yarn, regenerated fiber were sold on the exchange for foreign currency to buyers from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, China and Kyrgyzstan.

Meanwhile, Turkmenistan's businessmen purchased petroleum road bitumen and handmade carpets for the domestic market for a total of 75.7 million Turkmen manats ($21.6 million).

A total of 89 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

During the previous reporting period, the amount of currency transactions on exchange in Turkmenistan exceeded $26.1 million.
