ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 7. The total value of transactions carried out at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $207 million in August, Trend reports.
This month has become one of the most productive months of Turkmenistan's trading activity on this exchange.
Furthermore, foreign entrepreneurs purchased textiles worth $17 million through the exchange in the specified month.
In general, the amount of gasoline sold by Turkmenistan to foreign enterprises is 35.75 percent of the total sales of raw materials on the state commodity exchange; polypropylene is 5.8 percent; and textiles are 8.21 percent.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
