A 220 kV Zafarabad substation with a modern digital control system is planned to built with the support of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Uzbekistan’s Jizzakh region, the press service of the country’s Energy Ministry said, Trend reports.
The Asian Development Bank approved the tender documentation developed jointly with the design institute of ‘Uzenergoengineering’ JSC, and agreed to announce an international tender to determine the general contractor.
An international tender competition for the construction of a new digital ‘Zafarabad’ substation on a turnkey basis, under the ADB’s requirements, will soon be announced on ‘National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan’ JSC.
