Uzbekistan has exported 5,700 tons of tomatoes worth $3.5 million to 7 foreign countries in January 2022, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The volume of tomato exports decreased by 1,700 tons compared to the corresponding period last year.
During this period, most of the tomatoes were exported to Kazakhstan in the amount of 4,000 tons.
This is followed by Russia (1,600 tons), Kyrgyzstan is in third place (70.2 tons), Tajikistan comes next (7.8 tons).
Previously, it was reported that from January through February 2022 Uzbek enterprises exported 3,826 tons of tomatoes to Russia.
