BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 6. Uzbekistan significantly increased imports of cattle meat from January through July 2022, Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During the reporting period, 26,900 tons of cattle meat were imported to Uzbekistan from 9 countries, which is 10,500 tons more than in the first 7 months of last year.
In value terms, meat imports amounted to over $116.4 million.
The main countries exporting cattle meat to Uzbekistan from January through July 2022 were:
