BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. Uzbekistan imported 20,800 cars worth $511.6 million from January through August 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
Imports of passenger cars increased by 5,800 units, compared to the corresponding period last year.
During this period, most of the cars were imported from China in the amount of 8,300 units, followed by South Korea (6,800 units), Kazakhstan (3,700 units), and Russia (1,400 units).
In 2021, Uzbekistan imported 27,067 cars worth $588.2 million from 26 countries.
